01Agreement
By downloading or using NextRole (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
The App is licensed to you, not sold. Your use is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. NextRole, not Apple, is responsible for the App and its content.
How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.
02The service
NextRole helps you with your job search. It includes:
- A resume builder with templates and PDF export
- Cover letters, with optional drafting for a specific company and role
- A job application tracker with statuses, dates, and reminders
- Interview practice with role-specific questions and voice or typed answers
We may add, change, or remove features over time.
03Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use NextRole. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to use the App and buy a subscription.
04Subscriptions
NextRole is free to download. Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the App Store.
| Plan | Price (USD) | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 2 resumes, 2 cover letters, 4 job entries, basic templates, PDF export |
| Weekly | $4.99 / week | Unlimited resumes, cover letters, and job entries, plus interview practice |
| Yearly | $45.99 / year | Everything in Weekly, billed once a year |
Prices in your country are shown in the App Store before you confirm, and may include taxes.
Auto-renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings at any time after purchase.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
If we change a subscription price, Apple will notify you as required, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
05Cancellation and refunds
To cancel, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, choose NextRole, and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also manage subscriptions on the App Store.
After cancelling, you keep paid features until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the App doesn’t cancel a subscription.
Payments are handled by Apple, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Except where the law requires otherwise, we can’t issue refunds directly.
06Your content
You own what you create in NextRole, including resumes, cover letters, notes, and answers. Your content is stored on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.
When you use a drafting feature, you let us and our service providers process the text you submit only to produce the result you asked for.
You’re responsible for keeping backups. Since we don’t keep a copy of your data, we can’t restore content that’s lost from your device.
07Generated content
Drafts, suggestions, and interview questions are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Review and edit everything before you use it.
You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you send to employers. NextRole doesn’t guarantee interviews, offers, or any hiring outcome.
08Acceptable use
Please use NextRole lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to:
- Use the App to misrepresent your identity or qualifications in a way that is fraudulent
- Upload or create content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes someone else’s rights
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell the App, except as the law allows
- Try to get around subscription limits or interfere with how the App works
09Intellectual property
The App, including its design, templates, text, graphics, logos, and software, belongs to NextRole or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You can use the templates to create your own documents. Everything else is reserved.
10Third-party services
NextRole relies on services provided by others, including the App Store for purchases, Apple speech recognition for voice answers, and an AI service provider for drafting. Their own terms apply to how they operate, and we aren’t responsible for their availability.
11Disclaimers
NextRole is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextRole won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for NextRole in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
13Termination
You can stop using NextRole at any time by deleting the App. Remember to cancel any subscription separately.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, survive termination.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll also let you know in the App. If you keep using NextRole after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
15Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NextRole operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn’t remove any consumer protection rights you have where you live.
